From radio waves and sound waves to vibration, various different kinds of waves are emitted from our smartphones and earphones that we cling onto everyday. If we could see these waves, how would they look like? I imagined and explored the visualisation of waves through the use of lighting, shadow, texture, and background.
Through the use of repetition, reflection and rippling texture, I tried to convey the meaning of the transfer of information between devices.

Music can be serene like calm waves, or dynamic and passionate. To visualise the different characters of sound waves, I made soft waves in the background to contrast the overlapping, rigid waves on the earphones that flow in various directions.
